If I havent worked all year, do I need my W2 for someone to claim me as a dependant?

Then that person should just go ahead and claim you as a dependent, assuming that you qualify as such.

You do not get a W-2 if you did not work. Did you have any other type of income, such as unemployment comp?

No, I didn't have any income at all in 2016.
