If I have proof of payment through my bank account and turbo tax why is my state claiming I did not pay?

TurboTax never knows how, when or even if you paid your tax due, so TT cannot provide proof that you paid.  Your own bank or credit card statements or cancelled checks are your proof.   If the state is saying you did not pay, then you need to show that proof to the state.

Unfortunately, once TurboTax hands the tax return to the state, we no longer have any control over it.

I suggest you contact your state DOR.

There may be a phone number on the notice you received.
