If I have never received any of the stimulus checks, do you think using the simple tax return option will help me to get them? Or should I use a professional.

I believe I haven't received them is because right before the pandemic I was living abroad. I immediately started working again here in the US but I still didn't receive it. I have only worked two teaching jobs and collected unemployment in the time between those jobs. Any advice is appreciated!
