If i forgot to file my. 1095B form was i penalized?

My return was way smaller this year than last even though I worked more . is this why and if so what can I do?

No, you were not penalized because of the form 1095-B. In fact, Form 1095-B  is not reported on your tax return at all. The form is a receipt from private insurers or employers confirming you had health coverage. Keep it for your records.

When going through the Health Insurance section, all you had to do is indicate that you had health insurance coverage all year (if applicable) and that you were not enrolled in other plans (such us Obamacare of Healthcare.gov plan). As long as you did that, you are fine.
