If I do not have a business name or tax number but do odd jobs for money to support myself, do I use the self employed turbo tax or the deluxe?

Been living of of a large tax refund and do not have a job right now so my husband and I are supplementing what we need by helping parents and friends with things for money. Which turbo tax would I use to file our taxes?

You can use TurboTax Self-employed and setup your work as your own 'business.' This is required for your situation for taxes.

You do not need a business name or tax number (instead your legal type of business is Sole Proprietor because the business isn't separate from you).

Once you setup your self-employed business, you can enter your income under general/additional income. The software will walk you through everything you can deduct.
