If I didn't actually sell any stocks (ie get interest / dividends, etc.) do I still have to file a 1099 B form?

Did you get a 1099B for something?  If you got one you have to enter it.  Interest and dividends come on a 1099 INT or 1099 Div.   Do you have a 1099B that transferred over from last year? You can delete it if you don't have one for this year.

Sometimes a broker will sell assets to cover fees. Did you actually receive a 1099-B?
