Your home office has to be an office. If you take a picture of it and show it to me I should be able to tell that it is an office. It can't double as a bedroom or the dining room table and it shouldn't be covered with your kids toys.
That being said of course you can pay personal bills and play video games in your office. People in office buildings all over the world are doing those things right now.
