If I am not a dependent but I'm under my parent's insurance plan through an employer sponsored coverage, what tax forms do I need (e.g., 1095a, 1095b, 1095c)?

Is it necessary to know how much is my share in the premium paid by my parents? I want to know if I can deduct my share in the tax return.

It depends  For the tax return, you will not need any forms.  Since the insurance was provided through work and not through the Marketplace, you will only need to answer that you did have insurance and that it was not through the Marketplace.  You will not need any additional information for the program and you will not be penalized.

Your parents should have received a 1095-C form.  It would not be bad if they provided you with a copy of this showing you had coverage on their plan for your personal records.

Hi my kid is trying to do her taxes using turbo tax, and it keeps asking her for 1095-a. She is a dependent on our 1095-b. We did not get a 1095-c from the insurance company. What should she do?

She should not be entering anything for health ins at all.  She should try to skip or delete that section.

Form 1095-B is a tax form that reports the type of health insurance coverage you have, any dependents(if any) covered by your insurance policy, and the period of coverage for the prior year.

You do not need 1095-B form to file taxes. It is for your records.

If my child is not a dependent, but on my marketplace insurance, what does she need to file? Her return was rejected for not having form 8962
