If you haven't filed yet, you can go back in and change the Employer name/address in TurboTax:

  • Sign In to TurboTax Online
  • Click "Take Me to my Return"
  • Click "Federal" from the left side of your screen
  • Click "Edit/Add" next to the Job(W2) section
  • Click "Edit" next to the W2 you need to change

Try deleting your W-2 entry and then re-entering it.

Use the following steps:

  • On the top row of the TurboTax online screen, click on Search (or for CD/downloaded TurboTax locate the search box in the upper right corner)
  • This opens a box where you can type in “W-2” (be sure to enter exactly as shown here) and click the magnifying glass (or for CD/downloaded TurboTax, click Find)
  • The search results will give you an option to “Jump to early W-2
  • Click on the blue “Jump to W-2” link

This will take you to a W-2 summary page.  Then, click the trash can icon or Delete next to the W-2 that needs to be corrected.

Once it has been deleted, you can re-enter it.
