I worked for 2 companies in 2017. I overpaid NJ VDI. Turbo Tax did not credit the excess VDI correctly. I don't know how to correct it manually.

The amount of contribution to NJ State Disability is limited to $80.40 for a single employer.  If you had more than one employer who took out an amount, you should get back the excess.  This website describes this deduction:  http://www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxation/njit16.shtml

On that site you will notice that there are different amounts based on the type of contribution.  This does not need to be adjusted manually in the New Jersey return, but by making the correct box 14 selection.  For your VDI, you need to click on the dropdown box of Line 14 on the right side of the W-2 screen.  You will select NJ SDI for each W-2.  The following screenshot should assist you:
