I worked 2 jobs in the same place, but I owe less in taxes from the place where I made more money. Why?

I made $13,000 from JOB A and had $220 in federal income tax withheld.

I made $9,224 from JOB B and had $565 in federal income tax withheld.

Why did I pay more in taxes at the job where I made less money, when I didn't change my city/state OR the number of exemptions with my employer?

You may want to contact those employers and ask to see copies of any W-4 forms you filed with them. This will help you determine what happened with your withholding.

You would have to ask your employers how they calculated the withholding.
