I work and go to school fulltime. My parents got a 1095-A from Marketplace and I am also under this plan. We are a family of 4. How do I report this on my taxes?

I am filing my own taxes, am 21yo, my sister is 10yo and both my parents live in the household. My parents claim me, but in doing my taxes it is asking for 1095. Since i am on my parents' i don't know to do this math to figure out the correct numbers, but I did find out the SLCSP was $1,770.51. What's the premium percentage, my SLCSP percentage and the advanced payment of PTC percentage?

If your parents claim 100% of the premiums, your percentage would be $0. So, you need to ask them what percentage they entered on their tax return and the rest would be your percentage, assuming no one else is claiming any of it.

By doing so this way, my return won’t be “not accepted” by the irs because of the lack of providing insurance info? My parents did claim 100% of it as they too weren’t aware this could’ve been done differently so that I could claim my portion. And in all fairness, they paid for it so might as well they claim it and not me.

If you're listed as a dependent on your parents’ tax return, you won't have any health insurance questions to answer on your own return. TurboTax will tell you Since someone is claiming you on their 2024 taxes, you don't have to complete Health Insurance.

In your "My Info" section, be sure to indicate that you are being claimed by someone else (your parents) as a dependent. See image below.
