You won't claim anything on your W-2; just enter it in TurboTax as shown on the form.

The claiming of allowances occurs when you fill out a W-4 form at your place of work.  That simply guides your employer to how much tax should be withheld from your pay.  There are no allowances to claim on the tax return.

When you file single -- as long as you answered "no" to the question of whether you can be claimed on another person's return -- then you will receive your own personal exemption on your tax return.
