You appear to currently be in Live Deluxe (at least that is what it says underneath your question). The Live feature adds considerable charge since it includes on-demand help with return preparation from a tax expert and a review of the return prior to filing, if desired.

Are you trying to downgrade from Live Deluxe to regular Deluxe?

Or are you trying to downgrade all the way to Free Edition, which is only for very simple returns? If there's any situation in your return that can't be handled by Free Edition, it will have you upgrade again.

If you DO downgrade to Free Edition, be sure the Live part is removed (unless you want it). The Live feature is not free. When added to Free Edition, the product becomes "Live Basic."
