I was on leave of absence without pay last year. Should I get a W2 in zero still?

If for all of 2017, you were on leave of absence without pay, you shouldn't get a W-2 unless you had vacation time or sick time. I suggest calling your employer to make sure that you that you don't have a W-2 for 2017 before you prepare your tax return.
