I was not unemployed last year but am this year. Do you think that they will have the same rule as last year that you don’t have to pay federal taxes on 10000 of your unemployment?

That would be a change to the tax code which can only be legislated by Congress.  As of this date Congress has not passed any legislation to exclude unemployment compensation on on tax year 2021 return.
