I was not asked to enter health coverage. Did I skip a step?

No, you didn't skip a step. Starting in 2019, there's no longer a penalty for not having health insurance starting. However, if you had health insurance through Marketplace or received a Form 1095-A, you'll need to fill out a Form 8962 to reconcile the Premium Tax Credit. We'll create this for you when you enter your info.

There is a major glitch in the software this year. Correct, we cannot deduct our health insurance on the federal form, but we need to enter it, so that it goes on our Missouri state form where we can deduct it. The step-by-step would not allow me to do this, so I had to manually put it on the form. Turbotax has become much more difficult this year. You can't even jump to a topic. It just sucks.
