I was charged twice for my federal filing fee and I have been trying to get it resolved for a month now. How can I get a refund for the second billing?

I did not file a state return. My card was billed for the filing fees because the IRS didn't issue my refund for 4 months. I was then charged again when they took it directly from my refund as well. I was billed twice and the AI chat agent is no help because it just gives generic answers to questions I didn't ask.

No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue.  If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help.  Do not use the word “refund.”
