I was an Americorp volunteer in 2020 and received a monthly stipend. I got a 1099-misc form. How do I file it? I am not self employed.

Scroll down PAST Self-Employment to "Other Common Income"

Scroll down to 1099-MISC

Click Start

Enter the 1099-MISC and answer the interview questions carefully. 

You should select No, not for work No, not to make money and received only in 2020. 

 

It will be reported as income, but not Self-Employment.
