I was a inmate 4 months of the year with the same do I get earned tax credit for the remaining 8 months after incarceration

Worked same job 4 months incarcerated 8 months free do I get EIC

Maybe. You can apply for the credit if you meet all the other requirements and income restrictions. Having been incarcerated during the year does not make you ineligible. When you use TurboTax, the software will ask interview questions and let you know if you are eligible for any credits.
