To change your account preferences in TurboTax, please follow these steps:

  • Sign into your email account and view the message you received from TurboTax.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the email, and click on the link "Manage Preferences".
  • From there you will be taken to a screen that says "Manage My Email Communications".
  • Click on "Manage Preferences"
  • You will see a list of the types of emails TurboTax sends.  Click the circled X on the screen to unsubscribe from the types of email messages you do not want to receive.
  • Click on Save Preferences.

I just tried going to my Manage Account page and that “manage email preferences” doesn’t show up anywhere.  I’m sick of getting these emails - the only thing I can think of is to mark them as junk so they stop coming into my inbox.

  1. While in TurboTax,
  2. Open your Intuit Account listed on the lower left side of your screen,
  3. Select Data & Privacy,
  4. Scroll down to Direct Mail
  5. Select

Click here to opt out of direct mail marketing

  6. On this screen you can turn off all notifications from TurboTax.

When I click "Manage  preferences" it does _not_ take me to  "Manage My Email Communications"

How do I unsubscribe?  Please me 'click to unsubscribe' work as advertised!

When I click the "please click here" or "Manage Preferences" links at the bottom of the email they just take me to the account management overview page.

My options are "Sign in & security", "Personal info", "Data privacy", "Products & billing". The suggestion is to select "Data & Privacy" - do you mean "Data privacy"?

When I click "Data privacy" my only options are "Download" and "Delete". There are no mail related options.

Isn't it illegal to not have an unsubscribe option nowadays? If I can't unsubscribe from email, I would prefer to delete my account. I'll also be looking for the way to report inappropriate spam emails.

P.S. When I try to use this forum in Chrome the login fields are mostly cutoff at the top of the browser window - had to fill in the username field blind...

Here is the direct link to UNSUBSCRIBE

from TurboTax's annoying marketing emails/calls/mail:

https://privacy.intuit.com/cpi/do/signin

This was only found after I sent an email to [email address removed] about not being able to unsubscribe via the links sent at the bottom of their marketing campaigns. Their auto-reply included this link above. Very annoying how many hoops there were to jump through to unsubscribe when their "unsubscribe" buttons haven't been working since 2019 (according to google searches).

This does not work as TurboTax intended. Just keep getting a failure message when trying to "unsubscribe from all"

This does not work.

All the links in the email to unsubscribe or manage preferences fail.

I never signed up to receive marketing email from you.  Stop  it.

THIS is ridiculous that you do not have an unsubscribe button. I am FLOODED with emails when I used this YEARS ago.
