I want to restart my return and do again. I can not find the tax tool button to clear my return. Help says it is on the left menu but it isn't there on my screen. Help?

If you have not registered, paid or e-filed you can clear and start over

You must be working on the 2024 return in one of the sections of the program for the links on the left side of the online program to be available.

If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over with a lower priced edition. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2024 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.

You can exit TurboTax, delete the file from your file system, and then restart TurboTax. You should be back at your initial state when you started it. The file you need to delete is probably named something like:

2024 Lastname FirstInitial Form 1040 Individual Tax Return
