I want to efile my MN return but it says "returns with more than 2 copies of Schedule M1UE are not eligible for electronic filing." I am not filing any M1UE's.

Schedule M1UE reports employee business expenses. If you do not have any unreimbursed employee business expenses and would like to delete this schedule from your tax return, please take the following steps:

1.) On the left-hand side of your screen, click Tax Tools

2.) Click Tools

3.) On the window that pops up, click Delete a Form

4.) Scroll down to your Minnesota section and click delete next to the Schedule M1UE you wish to remove.

If it repopulates after deleting, this means that there is an entry within the state section that is making this schedule necessary. I would go back through this section within TurboTax and remove/verify the information that has been entered.

Unfortunately,  the schedule M1UE isn't an option to delete on my forms in order to e-file. I have reviewed my return several times and I didn't list any business expenses.  Now what?  Is this a Turbo glitch?

I use download version, and don't even have M1UE forms. The system still does not allow for e-filing. More advice from Turbotax is needed here.

There are some updates that are scheduled to take place for the Minnesota return later this week, I would try again on Saturday after everything has been updated. But, if you do not wish to wait for this scheduled update, you could print and mail your return instead.

Mercy me, Turbo Tax.  You know this is unimpressive, right?  Thanks for keeping me abreast of the situation as the ice thaws in the MN lakes.   😉

I'm getting this error too and I only have one M1UE. What's going on and when will this be fixed?

I agree, I just tried to e-file my MN returns with only one M1UE and got the same error.  There is no reason I should need to mail in, please look into this glitch and fix immediately.

Agreed...I'm getting the same message.  I use TurboTax so that I don't have to deal with mailing paper forms.  Please advise when this glitch will be fixed so I can e-file before the deadline.

I was finally able to get the message to go away by deleting my state return and redoing it. If it gets closer to Monday and you are still getting the error, you might want to try doing that. It's a pain in the a**, but it worked.

Where do you find the M1UE form in Turbo Tax - online version?  I can't find it to input it.
