I wanna make an account for a store & it says I need a Tax ID # for my state .. do I have to apply for tax forms just cuz of this or is there a way to avoid it ??

Sorry we can't help you with that.  This is a forum about how to use Turbo Tax to fill out your tax return.  You need to ask the store what they want you to fill in.  You might have to call them.  That's a store in another country over in Europe.

Which of the 37 states that require a business to have a state issued tax ID are you referring to?

Are you asking about income tax, or sales tax?

Well, I'm from Ohio and I don't know what would be the tax identification number because I don't have a business of my own

An online store is indeed a business of your own.

Also keep in mind that you may be subject to income and/or sales tax in the other states in which you sell.

No no.. it's not my store. I'm trying to register for it so I can buy something. But I can't get past the tax identification # part

What has this got to do with income tax?  It sounds like maybe they only sell to retail businesses. Contact them and ask for clarification.
