I've lost my W-2g's, but have win/loss statement from casino. Can I enter a total number & leave other detail blank?(date/type/info from boxes)? Lost more than won.

Due to a move, I've lost all W-2g's.  I do have the win/loss statement from the casino's.  How can I enter the total numbers without the other box info?  Will it get rejected if I just leave the date/time/type boxes blank? The amounts of coin in/coin out are well over 100,000, but the loss is greater!

Yes, you can enter the total amount of Gambling Winnings in TurboTax without having the W2-G's.  Using the Win/Loss Statement from the Casino is perfectly acceptable.

Choose "Gambling Income" under the Wages & Income Statement and then check the box that you do not have Form W2Gs.  TurboTax will walk you through the process.

Be sure to write off your Gambling Losses on Schedule A.... up to the amount of your gambling winnings!
