I used Turbotax Windows version last year but have switch to Apple. If I buy the Mac version of Turbotax this year, will my last year's return be accessible?

The TurboTax tax data file from 2016 can be transferred to a 2017 TurboTax New Tax Return regardless of which Operating System program was used in 2016.

The tax data file can be opened by any TurboTax desktop CD/Download edition for the same tax year as the tax data file.  So a tax data file from 2016 which has a file extension of .tax2016 can be opened by a 2016 TurboTax desktop edition (Windows or Mac).

Put it in the Documents folder in the bottom right.  Just drag it from the flash drive.

There usually is an Applications folder and a Document folder.  Maybe it’s called Library?
