I told my employer my new address back in November 2017. I just got my w2 from that state. Turbotax wont let me file correctly.

You cannot use TT online to file a 2017 return now. Had you filed 2017, and need to amend?  Or do you need to file an original 2017 return?

I need to file an original return 2017. I would have filed on time if my employer sent my w2 to the correct address that was given to them prior to the send out date. Like I said before,I gave them notice November 2017 of my new address.

If you choose to use TurboTax to complete a 2017 tax return, then you will need to purchase, download and install on a personal computer one of the 2017 desktop editions from this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/. It cannot be done on a phone.

A 2017 tax return must be can only be printed, signed and mailed. It cannot be e-filed.
