If your wife did not change her name with the Social Security Department, your return will be rejected by IRS because of a name mismatch. Other reasons for rejects include entering your employer's tax ID incorrectly.
Go back and revisit the entries you made in your return to make sure all entries were incorrectly input and correct any that are not correct.
