I submitted a question earlier, about box 20 being left blank. I was told to leave it empty. If I still got issues to delete the w2 and re-enter. I’m still getting error.

It won’t let me file without putting something for box 20 even through box 19 doesn’t have any local income taxes withheld. I was told to leave it blank. I did and got an error. I was told to delete it and re enter it manually. Well I did and I’m still getting error. It will not let me file unless I put something for box 20 and my box 20 is blank… I don’t know what to do 😭

If there are local wages in Box 18, then the program will likely look for a locality name in Box 20. If Box 18 has an amount, but your income is not subject to any local income or wage tax, then delete Box 18.
