I should not be forced to pay $120.00 when I do a simple simple federal and state return. Why did your system lock me into this.

You can view your TurboTax fees while logged into your program by following these steps:

 1. Click on  the "Tax Tools" icon on your left menu bar

 2. Click on "Tools"

 3. Choose the "My Fees" option to see what you are being charged for

 4. You will see an option "Help with My TurboTax Fees", click on this for suggestions on how to reduce your fees

It is possible that you signed up for "Live" support, which is an optional feature that allows you to contact us with questions regarding tax law and how it might pertain to your individual tax situation. It is an optional feature so you can choose not to use it. To opt out, you would have to clear and start your return over, by using the "Tools" feature and choosing "Clear and Start Over".

If you have a simple tax return, you may be able to complete and file your tax return for free with TurboTax, to see if you qualify please review the following:

I qualified and your system locked me in to the fee. I actually did the return twice and it still would not keep me from the fee. Therefore I was stuck. You have your payment now but my business going forward is doubtful.

If you had said something BEFORE you paid we could have told you other options.
