I scheduled to pay my Iowa taxes when I filed and it didn’t come out the day it was supposed to

was it eventually taken or not?  if it was and you specified a date on or before 4/15 and timely filed your return, then there should be no penalties or fees because the state was tardy in taking what it was owed.
