Just ignore the W2 with box 14.  Delete it.   It has a different EIN in box b?

A changed EIN means changes in the company and I would expect some wages on each form rather than all on one. The box 14 entry has no effect on federal taxes and only sometimes may affect state. For 47 cents, the program isn't allowed to even register that as the IRS requires every entry be rounded to the nearest dollar, which is zero in your case.

While you don't need the extra w2, you may want to ask your employer if there is a problem and should you be expecting a corrected form. You may learn something new about the company and their plans. The payroll company could have made a mistake that needs correcting for everyone.

If you ever do get 2 w2 forms from the same employer that need entry, see Multiple W2s from Employer.
