i received dividends from schwab, from funds that are inwhole or partially invested in US Obligations. so parts of these dividends are tax free for my state...where do i enter thsi information so that it can transfer to my state return...phone help?

After you enter the 1099 data the next screen asks you if any of the dividends are from u s govt obligations. You click on this and the next screen asks for the amount of them are from u s govt obligations.
