I received a 1099-NEC from my brother in-law for farm work I did. How do I report income I received for helping him work his cattle and mow and rake his hay fields?

It is self-employment income and gets reported on Schedule C.    How to enter self-employment income.   When you enter the 1099-NEC,you will link it to the Schedule C you create.   You can deduct expenses related to this income on Schedule C also.
