I received a 1099 misc from my previous employer after I filed my taxes. What do I need to do?

After I filed i filed my taxes I received a 1099 misc. is there something I need to do?

Employers issue W-2 forms. Were you an independent contractor?

No i was not.i got a w2 form and the 1099misc after that

your previous employer is trying to screw you my making you pay the self-employment taxes

If you did not include that income in your tax return, then you will need to file an amended return (Form 1040X) to include the 1099 MISC income.  See the steps below for filing an amended return for 2018:
