That should be entered under
(personal side if using Home and Business)

Wages & Income

Other Common Income

Income from Form 1099-MISC

Enter the 1099-MISC, (income should be in Box 3)

Select "This was money from a lawsuit settlement"

Select Yes or No concerning back wages

Finish the interview.

All Form 1099-MISC look the same, although the numbers entered are unique,

if the boxes don't line up, you may be on the wrong screen.

If this is reporting wages earned while you lived in a different state, you may need to file for that other state to claim those wages.

if you need more help, please continue the question and please provide more information.

What boxes are not lining up?

Is this for back wages? When were they earned?

In what state were the wages earned?

When did you move from that state?
