I reached the last page in filing my Federal and State Taxes, and TurboTax told me they "hit a slight snag in this section" and to come back later. Why can't I file?

Do you happen to know the specific item you were working on when that screen appeared?

I was on the very last page. Both my Federal and my State Reviews were reviewed and completed. I completed the page that says "just three more steps and we'll file your returns" and provided proof of ID. I was on the page that said, "Let's take a look at your returns before you file" and selected "Continue". I then received the error message, "Hmm, looks like we hit a slight snag in this section. Let's get you back to your taxes. Make sure your Internet is connected, and then select Try again, refresh your browser, or check back in a few minutes."

Did you try all the steps outlined in the message?  Clearing browser/cache usually works in these situations. Also, do try at different times (early day or late night).

This happened to me when I changed my password. I also couldn't get past paying. It said it was charging me $44.99. Only thing $44.99 is audit defense which I didn't choose. I put disc back in and launched. found return and opened. Went right to the filing tab, reviewed information, selected payment and done. hope this helped.
