I Purchased software. message says i need to but can't upgrade OS so use online. Please send refund.

I just purchased turbotax software.  After installing the software, I open it and a message pops up that says I need to upgrade my mac operating system. Then it says that I am unable to upgrade my mac OS so I need to use TurboTax online.   How do I get my refund.
