I paid $212.49 for an an extension on April 15 and now when I log on there is no mention of that.

I made no payments other than the $212.49 to you.

When you requested your extension you were supposed to pay your estimated tax due.  Did you enter the payment you made into your tax return?  Go to Federal>Deductions and Credits>Estimates and Other Taxes Paid>Other Income Taxes

Was that payment for the TurboTax fee to purchase Self-Employed Live  -- or is that how much you paid to the IRS?  The forty-nine cents is odd for a tax payment.  Generally you only pay a whole dollar amount to the IRS.

Oh--well that is different.  You do NOT enter that in your tax return.  Are you in the same account with the same user ID?    Did you even start the tax return or did you just request an extension?  If you are looking for the Form 4868 see the instructions given below by Critter#2

The TT fee payment you already paid will be taken into consideration when you are in the FILE tab step 1.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.  Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets to see the form 4868.
