I own a business and want to file and send a 1099 to my contract worker. Can I do this on turbo tax?

Yes, you can prepare Forms 1099-NEC using TurboTax. 

 

To create W-2's and 1099-NEC forms in the online version of TurboTax:

 

1. From your Home Page in TurboTax, scroll down the page and select Your Account.
2. You will see Create W-2's and 1099's, select that option
3. Log into Quick Employer Forms and follow the instructions

If you are using the desktop version of the program, you will see an option to do that when you start a new return, under the heading Create Employer Forms.
