I owe a $75 fee for underpaying my taxes for year 2023. I asked for a waiver, they said I need to file form 2210, but Turbo Tax is not offering this to me. Input?

Do I need the form, or not??

Yes, you will need to include this form with your return if you are trying to waive the penalty.  Are you working on filing your 2023 return now?

You will find this form by selecting the following:

  1. Other Tax Situations
  2. Underpayment Penalties under Additional Tax Payments

If have already filed your 2023 return, you can still fill this form out in TurboTax and then print only that form to mail in to the IRS to the address listed on the instruction page at the front of your return.
