I only owe $14 state tax. Is there a way to not pay State e-file ($50) and just use regular mail?

When using TT OnIine, there is no state efile fee. rather. Rather, the $50 charge  is for the use of the State software to prepare the return.  You can pull the forms and instructions from the state's tax website, and do them by hand.

Just print it and mail it in.  The fee I paid for efile was $25, and normally you get one state with the purchase of the tax software.
