I now live in the UK and have a phone number from this country. Turbotax won't take my UK phone number. How can I update my personal information with this.

You can get a free phone number from Google that you can use:  

With Google Voice, you get a free phone number for calls, text messages, and voicemail. You can use the apps on smartphones and computers, and you can link your number to any mobile or landline number.

Thanks so much for the reply. I've searched and find that the advice couldn't be done because Google's own site for acquiring a Google phone number states, "Voice is only available in the U.S. If you're outside the U.S., you can make calls with Hangouts.".  I'm still not sure how to go about this.

If you do not have a phone number you can enter a "fake" US number so that you may continue.  Select a US area code then use the number 555-5555 this will allow you to move forward in preparing your tax return.
