I need to use Assist and Review Self employed, but my spouse did not earn any income, can she file with me and not have to pay for this more advanced version of turbo tax

When you file a joint tax return you prepare and file ONE tax return with all of the combined information for both spouses on that one return.  You can file a joint return even if one spouse has little or no income.   The cost to file a joint return is not more---you are filing ONE return for the fee.

 

If you have self-employment income you are going to want Live Assisted Premium.
