You may need to fix your return--or you may not need to---depending on why it was rejected. E-filing has closed permanently for 2022 returns, so no matter what you do to change it, you will have to file it by mail. You will need to print it, sign and date it in ink, and mail it in. If it was rejected for AGI, then you do not need to change anything, since you only needed AGI in order to e-file, which is now a non-issue. Or was it rejected for some other reason? What was the rejection code or rejection message you received?
