I need to fill in the Michigan use tax worksheet and it won't allow me to enter any information. Any idea what the problem is?

I am filling out a Michigan state tax return and I need to complete the use tax worksheet because I made purchases that didn't charge me sales tax. When I go to enter anything (either itemized or check to use the use tax table) it won't let me select or type anything. The only thing it lets me do is check that I don't need to pay use tax which is not correct. Any idea why I am having this problem?

Sign into your account and return, Click State on the left side bar.

Click Continue with the Michigan Return

Continue until you get to the "Take a look at Michigan credits and taxes" screen and scroll down to "Use tax"

Select the first reply under "Any Untaxed Out-of-State Purchases?"

Continue through the interview. If you have receipts, you enter them. If you don't have receipts, the program will make an estimate based on your income.
