I need to file my tax extension. I live in Florida and the deadline was moved to May 1, but it isn't an option on the turbo tax extension website. Why?

The federal extension had to be filed on or before April 15, 2025.  

If you file your tax return on or before May 1, 2025, the IRS will see your zip code and know that you filed on time.
