I need to edit the amount earned to match my 1099MISC

Can you be more specific about what you are trying to do?

 

If you are reporting income from a 1099-MISC as self employment income, the best way to do this is to edit your Self-employment income and expenses.

1. Select Add income for this work
2. Then select 1099-MISC. 
3. The next screen will allow you to enter your 1099-Misc information.

If you have already entered your 1099 information elsewhere, delete it.
