I need to change my account number as it is outdated and a closed account. I added this new account to my TurboTax profile, but it won't update.

You have to go to Step 2 in the FILE section.

You cannot  change banking information while your return is in pending, nor can you change it after the return is accepted.  The IRS does not allow it.
