I need my 1099g from the state of Illinois, but their site won't let me attempt to login. Is there another way to access this?

Try to call them to get assistance.  Even if TurboTax has a means of directly downloading the information into the program, it will take your login information with the state unemployment website to do so.  Look for their contact information on the following website:  IDES - Illinois.gov

If you have to call the IL unemployment office----you might want to get  an extension for your tax return.  When you call IDES you are put in "line" for  a call back ---- the call can take up to two weeks (maybe more) before they call you.

Are you sure you cannot go on the IDES site to get your 1099G by using the ID and password you used to certify for your benefits?  You should be able to log in and get your 1099G.
